We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator, Quebec, to support the delivery of Dormez-vous marketing campaigns for the Quebec market. In this role, you will review French adaptations of national marketing content to ensure they are clear, engaging, culturally relevant, and aligned with the original campaign intent. You won't be translating content yourself: your role is to spot what working or not and guide our agencies and partners toward a stronger adaptation.

Working closely with the Quebec marketing team, national marketing teams, agencies, and external partners, you will provide actionable feedback on French-language communications and coordinate the production of marketing materials across multiple projects. Your ability to balance attention to detail, strong communication skills, and project coordination will help ensure high-quality marketing campaigns that resonate with Quebec consumers.

In this role you will:

  • Review French marketing communications across all channels (i.e: digital, email, social media, etc.) and compare French version with the English source to ensure brand consistency, quality, and cultural relevance for Quebec consumers
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback to agencies and partners to strengthen the impact and authenticity of French-language content
  • Identify wording that reads as translated or unnatural, explain why, and propose creative directions that make communications more relevant to Quebec consumers
  • Champion the Dormez-vous brand voice, terminology, and communication standards across all Quebec marketing materials and flag inconsistencies to the relevant agencies and teams
  • Coordinate the development and production of Quebec marketing assets, managing timelines, approvals, revisions, and deliverables
  • Act as the key liaison between Quebec, national marketing teams, agencies, and external partners to ensure seamless project execution
  • Monitor project progress, manage priorities, and keep stakeholders informed of status, risks, and deadlines
  • Identify issues requiring a decision from the Marketing Manager, provide relevant context, and recommend solutions to support timely decision-making
  • Support the Marketing Manager, Quebec in the planning and execution of marketing initiatives and special projects

The Qualifications and Experience we like to see:

  • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field is a strong asset
  • 2-4 years’ experience in marketing, communications or advertising, including reviewing, adapting or coordinating marketing communications for the Quebec market
  • Agency experience is an asset
  • Strong understanding of Quebec culture, consumer behaviors, and market nuances
  • Ability to identify brand, messaging, or comprehension issues and distinguish them from personal stylistic preferences
  • Proven ability to provide clear, constructive, and actionable feedback to internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and project management tools
  • Curious, resourceful, collaborative, and comfortable asking questions to drive better outcomes
  • Excellent written French, with a sharp ear for what sounds natural in Quebec and what sounds translated
  • Fully bilingual in French and English, written and spoken, with the confidence to defend the Quebec perspective with English-speaking colleagues

The knowledge of English is required for this specific position as the incumbent will interact on a consistent and regular basis with English-speaking stakeholders located outside of Quebec.
