We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to help translate product designs into robust, repeatable, and efficient manufacturing processes.

The Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with Design Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Production, and external suppliers to develop manufacturing processes for new products, from early prototypes through production. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA), process development, tooling, equipment, process validation, and production readiness.

Responsibilities
  • Support Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) activities throughout product development.

  • Develop manufacturing processes, work instructions, tooling, equipment, and inspection requirements.

  • Support new product introduction, production ramp-up, First Article Inspection (FAI), and process qualification.

  • Verify processes meet engineering, quality, and production requirements.

  • Design and develop test fixtures, assembly fixtures, inspection fixtures, and manufacturing tooling.

  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective and continuous improvements.

  • Partner with Design Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, technicians, and suppliers.

  • Support equipment selection and the transition of new processes into production.

  • Maintain configuration-controlled manufacturing and validation documentation.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • Hands-on experience with precision manufacturing or Mechanical/electromechanical assemblies.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Experience with FAI, process capability, NPI, Lean Manufacturing, or regulated industries is preferred.

  • Familiarity with CNC machining, precision assembly, ERP/MES/PLM systems, and cleanroom or ESD environments is a plus.
