Job Description

Are you an experienced corporate services professional ready to take the next step in your leadership career? As a Manager - Fund Administration, you'll play a pivotal role in leading a portfolio of high-profile clients, overseeing complex fund administration and corporate governance matters, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll act as a trusted advisor to clients while mentoring and developing a talented team, driving operational excellence, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

What You'll Do

  • You'll lead, develop, and mentor a team of professionals, ensuring high-quality service delivery, effective workload management, and adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
  • You'll review and approve complex client deliverables, including board packs, resolutions, minutes, constitutional documents, TRC applications, regulatory filings, payments, and corporate transactions.
  • You'll oversee a broad range of fund and corporate activities, including restructurings, investments, financing transactions, distributions, redemptions, migrations, and other strategic corporate actions.
  • You'll ensure all statutory, regulatory, and governance obligations are met, maintaining strong relationships with clients, directors, investors, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
  • You'll drive operational excellence by managing risk, maintaining information security standards, supporting strategic projects, and partnering with leadership to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Qualifications

About you:

  • You hold a degree and a relevant professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, Law, Corporate Governance, or a related field.
  • You bring at least 7 years of experience within fund administration, corporate services, or the global business sector, including proven people management experience.
  • You possess strong technical expertise in corporate administration, fund structures, governance, and secretarial matters.
  • You have a solid understanding of the Companies Act, Financial Services Act, and the regulatory framework governing Global Business in Mauritius.
  • You are a confident leader with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build strong client relationships while driving team performance and operational excellence.
