Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Director of Planning and Distribution for the RW&CO. brand, the Allocation Manager develops and executes allocation and inventory management strategies to support the brand’s strategic objectives, maximizing sales and profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In collaboration with the Product Development team, define financial and strategic goals and conduct ongoing reviews of retail sales, markdowns, and inventory levels.

  • Lead, develop, and motivate a team of allocation analysts to achieve objectives on time and in line with overall strategy.

  • Maintain weekly sales and inventory forecasts with the Product Development team and revise budgets accordingly to ensure proper stock levels.

  • Oversee unit forecasting to achieve sales, inventory, and profitability targets.

  • Develop and oversee the execution of markdowns and promotional strategies.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • University degree in Business, Finance, or a related field of study.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in budgeting and inventory management within a retail environment.

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.

  • Ability to coach and mentor team members.
