As a Learning and Development Advisor, you will play a key role in defining and implementing learning strategies designed to support change adoption, competency development, and employee engagement.


You will contribute to the evolution of knowledge management and talent development practices to support the transformation of the IAAH and Prysm contact centres through digital transformation, automation of activities, and the enhancement of the employee and customer experience.


What you’ll accomplish with us
As a Learning and Development Advisor, you will be at the heart of our mission. Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Develop and implement development pathways that integrate learning and career journeys to support employee growth in a changing environment.
  • Define and deploy support strategies for agents and subject matter experts while ensuring the application of best practices in learning and competency development.
  • Design innovative learning strategies that address current and future contact centre needs, evolve training programs, and support the achievement of organizational objectives.
  • Partner with business units to develop and evolve competency profiles based on organizational needs and employee development goals.
  • Design and implement monitoring mechanisms and assessment tools to measure competency acquisition, evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Optimize knowledge management practices and contribute to the creation of a learning ecosystem tailored to the needs of the modern learner.
  • Act as a strategic partner on organizational projects by conducting impact assessments and developing the learning and change support strategies required for successful change adoption.
  • Lead the end-to-end competency development process within multidisciplinary teams, from needs analysis through post-training evaluation.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the department by participating in committees and working groups, recommending optimization opportunities, and facilitating peer learning activities.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is recognized for their expertise in competency development, instructional design, and learning strategy development.
  • Stands out for their ability to analyze complex challenges and design learning and change support strategies in a transformational environment.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills that foster trusted partnerships.
  • Is recognized for their influencing leadership, adaptability, and ability to support change in evolving environments.
  • Is recognized for their understanding of the operational realities of property and casualty insurance and claims.
  • Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in competency development, including instructional design, training development, and learning transfer measurement.
  • Also has experience working in project-based environments, as well as experience within contact centre environments or in property and casualty insurance claims, which would be considered assets for this role.
  • Holds a train-the-trainer certification or equivalent expertise. A university degree in a relevant field and a coaching certification are also considered assets.
  • Proficiency with the Articulate 360 suite is considered an asset.
  • Advanced level of French proficiency, as the role involves regular collaboration with French-speaking colleagues.
