The role we are offering you:

By joining our Centralized Planning and Control team, you will have the opportunity to participate in the simulator realization.

Are you ready to be involved in the following tasks?

Apply the centralized resources assignment process for the Defense & Security Unit project’s execution.
Requests management (how to have them as precise as possible)
How to fulfill the projects resources needs:

Identify resources at Montréal and at Customers sites based on:
Resources availability,
Resources competencies (expertise and levels of expertise gained) and other personal factors (vacation, travelling, visas, etc…),
Business requirements (technologies, options, customer expectations, project schedule, budget).
Establish the various scenarios taking into account project dates changes and propose associated recommendations
Predict the impact

Definition in collaboration with:
The Group Managers
The Technical Leaders
Provide strategic recommendations based on next months projects workload
Define, lead and execute the continuous improvement process (including Artificial Intelligence potential benefits).
Take leadership on initiatives with larger scope than the Engineering organization.
Take assignments decisions in complex scenarios and guide the hiring, both autonomously.
Create and analyze reports, governances, punctual requests from higher hierarchy levels in Engineering or from the Business Unit.
Be a point of contact for the resources assignments ways of doing things for new teams joining the Engineering.

Our ideal candidate has: 

A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or College degree with applicable experience
Strong planning skills
Experience with resources assignments is an asset
Quick adaptability to priorities changes
Time management
Autonomy
Excellent communications skills
Decision taking leadership
Will to challenge existing processes
Strong interest in Continuous Improvement
