Job DescriptionRole: Lead ETL Developer
Location: Montreal, QC
Duration: Fulltime
BGV will be done for the selected candidates.
The position carries the following responsibilities:
- Will need to engage with Project Managers, Business Analysts and Application DBA to implement ETL Solutions
- Must be able to multi-task between various tasks and projects
- This ETL developer role is geared more towards an ETL developer with python or Perl development skills.
- Must be available for Off Hours support
- Must have the ability to support all phases of SDLC- requirements gathering, development, testing, production implementation and post production.
- Performing Proof of Concepts on new platforms
- Good Team Player
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills
- At least 8 years working as an ETL Developer using Informatica within an IT department, supporting both developers & users (business or other IT teams)
- Python or Perl development skills can substitute for part of Informatica experience.
- ETL experience must be in a Unix/Linux setup.
- Must have in depth experience with RDBMS such as DB2 , Teradata or Oracle as an application developer; using stored procedures, user defined functions and embedded SQL in other Programming Languages.
- Must have Unix shell scripting background
Desired Skills
- Green Plum and Teradata experience a plus
- Application DBA
- Data Modelling skills
