The Company

Glass Factory is building the future of manufacturing. Fashion brands come to us with ideas, and we manufacture them into high-quality products through a combination of AI systems and global factory relationships. We’ve developed an audience of 1.5M+ across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and our own platform. Our content is central to how we educate brands, build trust with factories, and make the manufacturing world more transparent.

The Position

We’re looking for a Lead Editor. This person will be responsible for leading the visual identity and output of the company across long-form video, short-form video, motion graphics, promotional assets, and select design projects. The ideal candidate is an exceptional editor first, with strong taste, strong technical ability, and the ability to build polished, engaging content from raw footage, interviews, factory visuals, screen recordings, graphics, and AI-generated assets.
This role is hands-on. The person we hire must be able to edit videos directly, create motion graphics, design visual assets, and take creative direction from concept through final delivery. Over time, they will also help manage freelance editors, designers, animators, and other contractors as needed to increase output without losing quality or consistency.

We are looking for someone who is highly creative, extremely resourceful, and fluent in the newest tools shaping content production. This includes traditional editing and design tools, as well as AI generation tools for static images, video, motion, visual effects, and creative experimentation. The right person is experienced enough to lead the quality bar, but still hungry enough to move fast, learn constantly, and push the company’s content into more ambitious creative territory.

Responsibilities

  • Edit long-form YouTube videos, including factory documentaries, educational videos, founder-led content, and brand storytelling pieces
  • Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, paid ads, and promotional campaigns
  • Create motion graphics, animated explainers, visual overlays, titles, transitions, and branded video elements
  • Design promotional assets for launches, campaigns, website sections, social media, newsletters, and platform updates
  • Use AI tools to generate, enhance, extend, and experiment with visual assets for both static and video content
  • Develop repeatable editing systems, templates, motion graphics packages, and visual standards for Glass Factory content
  • Manage freelance editors, motion designers, graphic designers, and contractors when additional production capacity is needed
  • Review contractor work, provide clear feedback, and ensure final output meets Glass Factory’s creative and technical standards
  • Work closely with the founders and internal team to translate ideas, footage, scripts, and strategic goals into high-quality content
  • Help shape the visual language of Glass Factory across video, social, web, and promotional materials
  • Stay ahead of new tools, formats, editing trends, AI workflows, and creative techniques that can improve content quality and output speed

Requirements

Necessary

  • Strong portfolio of video editing work across long-form and short-form content
  • Strong understanding of pacing, rhythm, storytelling, retention, sound design, typography, and visual hierarchy
  • Experience creating content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, paid social, or other digital platforms
  • Ability to take raw footage and turn it into a polished final piece with limited hand-holding
  • Strong communication skills and ability to give clear creative feedback to freelancers and contractors
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, revisions, and collaborators at once

Nice To Have

  • Graphic design ability, with good taste in layout, typography, composition, and brand consistency
  • Experience using AI creative tools for image generation, video generation, editing, motion, enhancement, or visual experimentation
  • Interest in fashion, manufacturing, startups, media, documentaries, technology, or visual storytelling

Specific Tools Experience

Necessary

  • Advanced proficiency in one of the following: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro (or equivalent editing software)
  • Strong proficiency in After Effects (or equivalent motion graphics tools)

Nice To Have

  • Proficiency in Higgsfield AI/RunwayML/Seedance (or equivalent AI video generation tool)
  • Proficiency in Nano Banana/Midjourney (or equivalent image generation tool)
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator
