Role: LDAP Admin
Location: Montreal, Canada
Duration: 6+ Months
BGV will be done for the selected candidates.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our identity management operations group. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for supporting highly scalable and comprehensive identity management and certificate management platforms. An ideal candidate should previously have worked with Oracle Directory Server previously and have at least light-weight Microsoft Active Directory experience.
Responsibilities:-Providing senior-level support for firm LDAP solutions. Solutions range from industry-standard applications to homegrown tooling.-Create tooling (as required) for support team usage.-Participate on calls with internal users and external clients or vendors.-Provide senior Level 3 and DevOps support and serve as subject matter expert for our LDAP and identity management solutions.
Technical Skills:-An acute understanding of: *LDAP products such as UnboundID, ODSEE, Active Directory.
*General network and enterprise security standards and concepts
-Basic knowledge of operating system administration on Windows and Linux [Redhat] platforms
-An intermediate knowledge of at least one scripting language such as PowerShell, Perl, Python or Shell. C/C++ knowledge is a bonus.
-Experience working with large enterprise architecture.
Soft Skills: -Active interest in IDM, Cryptography and Information Security.
-Excellent written and oral English communication skills: capable of writing comprehensive documentation, making presentations to an internal audience and interacting positively with upper management, colleagues and customers.
-Independent problem-solving, highly motivated and self-directing.
-Comfortable working in operations and support team with end user interaction and with periodic on-call responsibilities.
-Must be a self-starter, but must also recognize the importance and value of working as a member of a team.
-An interest and understanding of emerging IT Trends such as cloud computing, web technologies and multi-factor authentication solutions.
Experience: -5 to 6 years of experience in Identity Management.-ITIL, CISSP, LDAP System Admin or similar certification (optional).
