About the role

The Systems team is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting the technology infrastructure. This includes, but not limited to, storage, networking, workstations, cloud, virtualisation and rendering. We invest time into training and mentoring. This role is predominantly on-site (4-5 days)

What you’ll do:

The IT Support Analyst is part of the Systems Support team. They are the first responders to incidents and requests supporting all Framestore North American divisions.

  • First line of support for all incidents and requests using JIRA service desk

  • Workstation configuration support (hardware and software)

  • Monitors a variety of physical and logical systems

  • Diagnose and replace hardware components

  • Responsible for managing assets and loan equipment, including relocation and provisioning

  • Interacting with artists on a daily basis

  • Produce and update documentation using Confluence

  • You will partake in an on-call rotation to provide support during off hours

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience in a customer facing role.

  • Strong self-guided problem solving skills

  • Hands-on hardware experience; builds, upgrades, repair.

  • Ability to lift loads of a minimum of 25 lbs

  • Basic scripting language (powershell, bash, python)

  • A commitment to teamwork

  • Proven ability to adapt and work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

You might also have:

  • OS (Redhat based, Windows and OSX) and application support and deployment

  • Active Directory management

  • Configuration Management and automation

  • Windows Systems administration and deployment

  • Networking (Layer1, Layer2)
