We’re seeking someone to join our Global Supplier Services team within Corporate Services as an IT Software Sourcing Manager who will be responsible for managing a portfolio of software supplier relationships across our global technology infrastructure organization.

In the Corporate Services division, we empower our businesses by creating collaborative workplace solutions and commercial services that enhance the employee and client experience, while optimizing the value of our sourcing and third-party lifecycle to enable the Firm to do-and-win business. This is a Director position within Sourcing / Procurement, which is responsible for procurement (e.g., purchasing and supply chain activities), as well as vendor management (e.g., business requirements gathering, sourcing strategy, competitive and market assessments, negotiation, contracting, and relationships associated with outsourced services).

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Act as a “quarterback” to facilitate both new supplier onboards and renewals with a primary focus on the Cyber software category.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to technology stakeholders and work collaboratively across multiple levels and geographies to develop sound sourcing strategies that drive baseline reductions and cost avoidance as well as mitigate risk.

  • Leverage all tools and resources available, including but not limited to developing and conducting competitive bids and leveraging benchmarking/advisory companies, to create value and impact.

  • Create, present, and defend sound financial analysis and interpretation of supplier proposals to stakeholders as well as Sourcing Leadership  

  • Work cross-functionally with Software Asset Management; Legal and Compliance; Third Party Program Management; and Finance on deal analysis and preparation, contract drafting and execution, funding and budgets.

  • Fulfill a variety of administrative requirements including but not limited to preparing supporting documentation for sourcing projects, conducting various due diligence tasks to enable contract execution, preparing purchase order requests and facilitating resolution of payment disputes

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • At least 4 years relevant experience in software sourcing positions of increasing responsibility with a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or Technology

  • Knowledge of software license delivery models and metrics across all platforms

  • Experience in execution of complex software transactions.

  • Commercial negotiation and influencing skills to drive savings and deliver value to stakeholders.

  • Experience in contract interpretation, analysis and drafting across Master Agreements, Software Schedules, Trial Agreements, and Non-Disclosure Agreements

  • Experience working collaboratively and cross-functionally on competitive bids, deal negotiation, and contract execution processes.
