Responsibilities
Internal Control and Risk Management:
-
Understand the current financial and operational processes to identify potential control weaknesses.

Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
-
Develop and implement strategies to strengthen internal controls and minimize risks.
-
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of internal control measures.
-
Maintain comprehensive documentation of all internal control activities in a clear and organized manner.
-
Participate in projects to identify and assess risks associated with new initiatives and technological advancements.
Compliance Monitoring:
-
Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and external regulations.
-
Conduct regular reviews to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
-
Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure the organization adapts accordingly.
Collaboration and Support:
-
Work closely with various departments and projects to ensure a cohesive approach to internal control and compliance.
-
Provide support to staff on internal control and compliance best practices.
-
Seek and incorporate continuous feedback from stakeholders.
Qualifications and requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in accounting sciences.
-
CPA title.
-
Five (5) years of experience in internal control, compliance, or internal audit.
-
Strong skills in analysis and problem solving.
-
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
-
Curious, critical thinker and motivating personality.
-
Comfortable in a rapidly changing environment.
Technical skills
-
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PWP, etc.).
-
Excel Level - Intermediate: Pivot Table, Formulas (If, Sum.if, Concat).
