The opportunity

Reporting to the Director of SMB Sales, you will help grow the adoption of Petal Medical Billing and other Petal solutions among healthcare professionals across Quebec.

This is a full-cycle sales role focused mainly on the Quebec medical billing market. You will manage inbound leads, follow up on past opportunities, build pipeline through outbound outreach, and guide prospects through the sales cycle from first conversation to close.

You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Billing Operations to understand customer needs, share market insights, and help healthcare professionals simplify their billing workflows.


Your responsabilities

  • Build a strong understanding of Petal Medical Billing and clearly explain its value to healthcare professionals.

  • Manage inbound leads and generate new opportunities through outbound prospecting.

  • Build trusted relationships with prospects by understanding their needs, challenges, and workflows.

  • Lead discovery calls, product demos, and webinars.

  • Manage your pipeline and opportunities in Salesforce.

  • Follow up with older leads and closed-lost opportunities to uncover new business.

  • Collaborate with Billing Operations to answer customer questions and support a smooth handoff.

  • Share customer feedback and market insights with Marketing and Product.

  • Represent Petal at industry events and conferences in Quebec when needed.

What you bring

  • Professional experience in sales, healthcare technology, medical billing, or another customer-facing role.

  • A proactive approach to prospecting, follow-ups, and relationship building.

  • Strong communication skills and a consultative sales approach.

  • Excellent proficiency in French and good proficiency in English, both spoken and written, in order to communicate with English-speaking clients.

  • Good organization and the ability to manage several opportunities at once.

  • Self-motivation and comfort working without constant direction.

  • Curiosity and the ability to learn technical or industry-specific topics quickly.

  • A collaborative mindset, with openness to other’s ideas and feedback.

  • Resilience when handling objections and moving deals forward.

Experience selling into healthcare, using Salesforce, or working in a medical billing environment is a strong asset.

We’re also open to candidates with strong customer-facing experience who are eager to grow in a full-cycle sales role.
