Disease detection through smell? That’s right. With every breath, we release a health snapshot right into the air. This is the body’s hidden language, and up until now, it’s gone unnoticed. We're changing that. Inspired by nature and with a boost from NASA, we’ve developed the world’s first fully-integrated diagnostic breathalyzer. It’s capable of decoding these health signals in real-time and at any point-of-care. We’re bringing the sense of smell to the forefront of medicine and welcoming a new era of healthcare.

Are you passionate about unlocking a new era of healthcare? Do you thrive in thinking big, embracing innovation, and pushing boundaries? Are you driven to consistently exceed expectations and deliver extraordinary results? If so, this role could be your perfect fit. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to elevate human health by unlocking the digital sense of smell.

Who You Are:

With a startup mindset, you seek out funding opportunities to enable Noze to build on its innovation pipeline, transfer Noze’s technology into products and validate those products for clinical use.  You are a strong communicator, able to distill Noze’s ambitious projects into a clear vision for a healthier society.  You are able to translate concepts and plans into a value proposition that aligns with Noze’s goals and a funding partner’s mission.  You are tactful and collaborative, and comfortable initiating new partnerships.  Most of all, you are an exceptional writer with impeccable attention to detail.

You will be responsible for identifying high-potential grant opportunities, managing the full lifecycle of the grant process - from scouting and selection to proposal drafting and post-award compliance. Your work will directly impact Noze’s ability to scale breakthrough innovations in healthcare.

Here’s exactly who thrives at Noze:

  • Aligned. This is the place for go-getters who are ambitious. We value visionaries who are all in for exponential growth and committed to making a big impact.
  • Collaborative. We believe success is a team sport. Our people thrive on collaboration, embrace feedback, and are committed to continuous improvement.
  • Driven. We're not the kind to wait for directions—we take the initiative and push projects forward. We are high performers who are proactive, own their work, and consistently strive for excellence.
  • Pace. We move fast with purpose. It’s not about long hours—it’s about navigating challenges with speed and precision. We balance deep focus on what matters with the agility to push forward.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the development of a grant funding strategy by identifying funding opportunities in line with Noze’s product, clinical and business goals.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with funding agencies, philanthropic organizations, and key grant-making institutions.
  • Develop and maintain a grants pipeline with key deadlines, eligibility requirements, and strategic fits.
  • Develop content for grant proposals based on research and information from various sources, including literature studies, technical documents, interviews, and publications.
  • Write and edit technical documents, including research proposals, grant applications, reports, and manuals.
  • Collaborate with Noze’s product development and clinical teams as well as Noze’s researchers and clinical partners, to develop project proposals, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.
  • Manage submission timelines, ensuring all proposals meet deadlines and compliance criteria.
  • Organize and maintain documentation libraries and databases.
  • Assist in the development of presentations and other communication materials.

What you need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, science or a field related to medical science.
  • Successful track record in grant writing and proposal development,  ideally within research and clinical development of medical technology.
  • Excellent technical writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize information from multiple sources.
  • Ability to formulate a compelling story related to technology innovation and the impact to society.
  • Strong understanding of scientific and technical terminology.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated driven mindset.
