Principales responsabilités:
- Livrer les lots de conception reliés aux composantes de l’alternateur en utilisant les guides techniques et le retour d’expérience des autres ingénieurs;
- Avec l’aide de dessinateurs et techniciens, préparer les calculs, spécifications techniques, dessins et BOMs sous la supervision d’un ingénieur d’expérience;
- Animer et participer aux revues de conception avec les autres ingénieurs et fonctions ainsi que les experts techniques;
- Fournir du support technique à la chaîne d’approvisionnement ainsi qu’aux activités sur site.
- Collaborer avec les autres Centres d’expertise (COEs) à travers le monde;
- Appliquer les règles et les concepts de l’entreprise afin de s’assurer de la fiabilité, qualité, sécurité et de la maîtrise des coûts du projet;
Qualifications requises
- Baccalauréat en génie mécanique, jumelé à 2 à 5 ans d’expérience pertinente;
- Membre de l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
- Bonne connaissance de la résistance des matériaux;
- Avoir de bonnes habiletés analytiques;
- Être disponible pour des déplacements;
- Anglais et français courant écrit et parlé: L'employé(e) sera amené(e) à interagir de manière fluide avec des collègues de nos autres installations à travers et/ou à l'extérieur du Canada, et qui sont généralement incapables de communiquer en français et dont la langue de travail est principalement l'anglais.

English:
The employee is responsible for the mechanical design of alternator components for hydroelectric power plant projects. They will also be responsible for providing technical support to the supply chain as well as to on-site activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver design packages related to alternator components using technical guides and lessons learned from other engineers;
- Prepare calculations, technical specifications, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) with the support of drafters and technicians, under the supervision of a senior engineer;
- Lead and participate in design reviews with other engineers, functional teams, and technical experts;
- Provide technical support to the supply chain and on-site activities;
- Collaborate with other Centers of Expertise (COEs) globally;
- Apply company standards and concepts to ensure project reliability, quality, safety, and cost control.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, combined with 2–5 years of relevant experience;
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
- Strong knowledge of strength of materials;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Ability to travel as required;
- Fluent in written and spoken English and French: The employee will be required to interact fluidly with colleagues in our other facilities across and/or outside of Canada, and who are generally unable to communicate in French and whose language at work is predominantly English.

- Proficiency in CAD tools;
- Experience in hydroelectricity is an asset;
- Proactive, sense of urgency, and self-motivated;
- Strong communication skills;
- Strong team player, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and adapt to business needs.
