Job DescriptionRole: Hydro-Mechanical System Integrator Engineer
Location: Montreal, QC
Duration: 6+ Months / Fulltime
BGV will be done for the selected candidates.
Knowledge of Hydro-Mechanical Systems
• Knowledge of hydraulic, flight control and landing gears systems
• Knowledge of electronic control used in flight control and landing gears systems
• Knowledge of hydraulic pumps
• Knowledge of system failures and criticality
Product development knowledge
• Develop and review Systems architecture design
o Review and approve deliverables of System Suppliers
o Development, integration and certification of hydro-mechanical systems
• Support development and certification tests; witnessing of tests may be required
• ARP, AIR, AS standards, RTCA documents DO-160 and DO-178
• Part FAR25/525 certification process
Onsite Lead activities are as follows
• Lead/support Root Cause Investigation (i.e. review data, conduct analysis, technical discussions with Supplier)
• Create DCP(s) and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders
• Participate and/or support test activities
• Participate and/or support Continuing Airworthiness investigations, and present at
• Triage/CARB meetings
• Coordinate DCP related activities and other required activities/tasks with offshore team
• Participate in IPDT meetings with internal stakeholders and Suppliers
• Lead TIM and present DCPs at ECCB
• Review and present ETA (Engineering Technical Assessment) to PMO and Procurement
• Provide visibility/status to Section Chief/Supervisor of activities, escalation/help needed items
