Job Description

We’re building a modern HR function—one that puts the business and the employee experience at the center.

As an HR Business Partner, you act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders and executives within our Head Office Shared Services groups. You help shape how teams are structured, how leaders lead, and how talent decisions support business priorities.

Working in close partnership with our HR Centres of Excellence, you connect strategy to execution—ensuring the right expertise is brought forward to drive meaningful outcomes across the organization.

What you’re accountable for

The HRBP partners closely with senior leaders and executives on their most important people priorities, including:

  • Acting as a strategic partner to senior leaders, providing guidance on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and talent priorities
  • Influencing and challenging leadership decisions to ensure alignment with business objectives and long-term organizational health
  • Partnering with HR Centres of Excellence to design and deliver solutions across talent management, leadership development, and change initiatives
  • Using people insights and data to identify trends, inform decisions, and shape targeted actions
  • Providing oversight and direction on complex employee matters, ensuring consistency, risk awareness, and appropriate escalation
  • Supporting leaders in building high-performing, engaged teams and strengthening leadership capability

Qualifications

You are a credible partner to senior leaders and bring both perspective and judgment to complex situations.

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect people decisions to business outcomes
  • Experience influencing at a senior level, with the confidence to challenge and guide decision-making
  • A structured yet pragmatic approach to problem-solving in ambiguous environments
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret data and translate insights into clear direction
  • Bilingualism, French and English

Experience:

  • 7–10+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Experience supporting senior leaders
  • Strong experience in organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, or talent strategy
  • CHRP/CHRL (or equivalent) is considered an asset
