Role Summary
We’re looking for a proactive, collaborative HR Generalist to support global and regional HR initiatives across a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources for your assigned business unit, you'll partner with HR Business Partners, Centres of Excellence, and business leaders to deliver effective people solutions, ensure compliance, and support company-wide programs.

What You Will Do
- Support global and regional HR Business Partners, across different time zones, with delivering HR solutions and initiatives.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand their objectives and provide proactive HR support.
- Develop, implement, and maintain regional HR programs in compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Act as a key contact for HR-related inquiries and represent the HR team to our employees.
- Partner with the global HR team, including HR Centers of Excellence, to implement and support company-wide programs and initiatives.
- Manage confidential and sensitive employee relations matters, including but not limited to: performance management, conflict resolution, and investigations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams—including Operations, Payroll, and Benefits—to ensure a seamless and consistent employee experience across the organization.
- Drive continuous improvement towards streamlining processes and improving efficiency in HR operations.
- Manage and support ad-hoc projects, as assigned.
- Monitor the "pulse" of managers and employees and proactively address issues and risks and escalating to global or regional HRBPs.
- Analyze data trends and formulate data-driven recommendations.
- Depending on location, support the planning and execution of social and in-person activities.
What You Will Bring
- Relevant HR Generalist experience supporting teams in a global technology company.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You’ll be working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and being clear, concise, and collaborative is key.
- Knowledge of Canada employment laws and best practices, with the drive to maintain and further your knowledge. Knowledge of US employment laws will be an asset.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with tact and discretion.
- A comfort and interest in utilizing data to drive HR recommendations.
- A proactive problem-solving approach with a keen eye for detail. We need someone who can anticipate challenges before they arise and offer proactive solutions.
- A curiosity and growth mindset - continuously seeking to learn, explore new ideas, and be open to different perspectives.
- Proficiency with HR systems (SuccessFactors is an asset), as well as Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and SharePoint for communication, collaboration, and documentation.
In Canada, the base salary for this role ranges from $63,000 to $105,000. A candidate’s specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
