POSITION OVERVIEW


As an HR Coordinator at BDC, the only bank dedicated exclusively to Canadian entrepreneurs, you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of HR programs and in-person activities. You will play a key role in ensuring the coordination of HR program initiatives end-to-end, including administrative support, reviewing communications, and aligning stakeholders to enable seamless execution. You will ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of both in-person and virtual sessions while contributing to a positive and seamless employee experience. Your work supports the development of employees and, ultimately, the growth of Canadian businesses.


CHALLENGES TO BE MET


Training & Event Coordination

  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions (rooms, catering, materials, equipment)
  • Manage participant lists, invitations, and communications
  • Support facilitators and ensure sessions run smoothly
  • Maintain training calendars and schedules

Program Administration & Support

  • Support the delivery of learning and leadership programs
  • Prepare and maintain documentation (guides, templates, communications)
  • Manage shared inboxes and respond to inquiries

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as a point of contact between teams, facilitators, vendors, and participants
  • Ensure clear communication and alignment across stakeholders

Logistics & Problem Solving

  • Anticipate needs and resolve issues quickly
  • Ensure a seamless participant experience
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency

 

 WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


Experience & Skills

  • Relevant experience in HR coordination, event coordination, or training administration
  • Experience with Workday is a very strong asset
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in parallel
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Bilingualism is required
