Job Description:

TD Insurance, Small Business Insurance Group Manager your role within the Advice Center is essential to TD's success. You are accountable to ensure effective and efficient operations, delivery of services / solutions in accordance with established service levels, quality standards, compliance, and regulatory guidelines. Lead, coach and develop direct reports to achieve business results, strong underwriting acumen and professional/ personal development objectives. You'll support customers and internal/external partners with a variety of financial services through inbound and outbound calls, and digital channels.   • Deliver exceptional service and support for high volume complex problems with medium-high levels of risk related to financial products and services with the aim to provide accurate solutions the first time.
  • Lead your team with multiple points of internal and external contact while promoting team effectiveness and a positive/diverse work environment.
  • Be a key contact for strategic Small Business Insurance partners to cultivate relationships and create opportunities
  • Strive to make a difference in the workplace by recommending ways that will improve the customer and employee colleague experience.
  • Assist in business objective development by managing budgets and offering advice for enhancements and productivity.
Job Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree and/or seven (7) or more years relevant experience.
  • Previous commercial experience and expert knowledge of the business environment, processes, procedures, transactions and activities of products and services
  • Formal certifications (such as CIP or FCIP) at this level of expertise preferable
  • Have excellent organizational and team management skills with the ability to work in a demanding environment and handle multiple deadlines and priorities
  • High-level communication skills
  • Ability to interact and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Proven ability to coach and lead diverse teams
  • Strong competencies in performance management including but not limited to SMART Action Plans, performance coaching and challenging conversation

This role may be filled from multiple work locations. The salary range opportunity posted above reflects the Ontario and Quebec work locations. The salary range opportunity for the Nova Scotia and New Brunswick location is $89,400 – $126,200
