The opportunity
As a Global Product Manager Reactors, you will be accountable for the long-term profitable growth and marketing of the Hitachi Energy offering to target market segments. You will lead the development and management of the offering through all phases of its life cycle—ensuring alignment with market needs and the strategic goals of the Global Product Group.

- Define Strategy: Set and align product strategy with business goals and market needs.
- Analyze Markets: Research customers, competitors, and trends to guide decisions.
- Manage Lifecycle: Oversee product performance, improvements, and phase-outs.
- Develop Products: Plan new offerings and coordinate cross-functional execution.
- Launch & Promote: Lead go-to-market plans, pricing, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate & Forecast: Act as the link between market and internal teams; forecast demand.
- Drive Profitability: Ensure strong margins through pricing and business planning.
- Enable Teams: Provide training and tools to support product understanding and success.
Your background
- Degree in Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-years of experience in product management, marketing or business development. Specific experience in the power reactors or transformers market will be valued.
- In-depth understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis related to product profitability and market performance.
- Strong technical understanding of energy solutions and industry technologies to effectively communicate product benefits and differentiate offerings.
- Ability to develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with long-term company objectives and market opportunities.
- Strong commitment to understanding customer needs and delivering exceptional value through products.
- Willingness to travel globally on a regular basis
