We are looking for a Manager, Systems Engineer for complex rail projects.

As a team leader, you will be responsible for resource coordination, staff mentoring, and team engagement to achieve departmental objectives. You will actively contribute to technical activities on projects, ensuring planning, management, and delivery of engineering outputs that meet operational requirements for safety, reliability, and compliance. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholders.

Your Role
  • Lead the Systems Engineering & Integration team through all phases of the project lifecycle: definition, design, procurement, installation, and commissioning.

  • Support the deployment of systems engineering and integration activities (requirements management, interface management, verification and validation) across projects.

  • Organize and facilitate interface workshops between disciplines and stakeholders.

  • Ensure coordination with the client, technical teams, construction, operations and maintenance, as well as reliability, availability, maintainability, safety, and security groups.

  • Contribute to problem-solving and optimization of integration solutions.

  • Support construction and installation activities on-site.

  • Assist with system testing and commissioning.

About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.

  • Experience in systems integration throughout the project lifecycle, ideally in the rail sector (Light Rail Transit, commuter rail, high-speed rail).

  • Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and interact with clients, partners, and technical experts.

  • Solid knowledge of standards and norms (ISO 15288, EN50126/8/9) and tools (IBM DOORS NG, IBM Rhapsody, Sparx EA) used in systems engineering.

  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
