The RoleEngaging with clients and gaining a deep understanding of their problem, needs, goals, and priorities, as well as their technical environment with available data and architecture.
Architecting, building and releasing full stack applications focused on leveraging data and AI.
Ensuring best practices with MLOps or LLMOps in testing, monitoring, etc.
Creating high-performance data processing pipelines and data lakes as needed.
Managing client expectations and project timelines to ensure alignment.
Clearly communicating any tradeoffs and risks while intelligently addressing any client questions.
Staying up-to-date with the latest AI trends and technologies.
Strong experience as a software engineer working across different industries in different contexts.
4 to 6 years of experience as a Full Stack engineer working with Typescript, React, Node, Python or Go.
Must be truly comfortable with production experience across the stack.
Familiarity with one or more of the major cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure), including commonly used data-specific services such as BigQuery, SageMaker, etc.
Strong experience working, hosting, tuning and managing LLM services / libraries / tools.
Experience working with Agentic workflows including creating and using MCP servers.
Proven experience building common AI-powered experiences in information extraction, chatbots, document construction, data normalization, search, etc.
Experience doing prompt engineering in a structured way with defined experiments.
Experience fine-tuning LLMs with open-source models or closed-source services.
Experience creating testing infrastructure around agentic applications.
Experience working in consulting or contracting contexts.
The following would be bonus experience to have, though highlight any additional experience or skills you may have. We like working with people with varied backgrounds and experiences.
Experience working with other GenAI contexts with image generation, video generation, etc.
Experience working with Kubernetes.
Experience with ETL frameworks (e.g., Airflow)
Experience with mobile development (e.g. React Native, native iOS / Android)
Strong eye for design and user experiences.
Strong statistics and data science background for intelligent analysis of data.
Relevant industry certifications or publications.
