About the Role

Tecsys Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented FinOps Analyst to join our team. As a FinOps Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our Product and Technology department's finances and operations. With our transformative supply chain solutions, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of our customers in a rapidly changing omni-channel world. From demand planning to demand fulfillment, Tecsys empowers front-line workers and back office planners, enabling business leaders to see and manage their supply chains like never before.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial and operational performance data to identify trends and drive strategic decision making.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Evaluate and improve financial and operational processes to drive efficiency and cost savings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support business development initiatives and investment decision making.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent degree and experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, with a strong interest into accounting and financing; OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent degree and experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, with a strong interest into computer science, cloud technologies and cloud provider.
  • 1+ years relevant experience as an Information Technology or Finance professional managing IT.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and public cloud concepts.
  • Ability to establish IT cost management strategies, models, processes, and tools
  • Understanding of cloud billing practices and procedures
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Interpersonal, consultative and facilitation skills, coupled with analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners, and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec.
Nice to have 
  • AWS, Azure and/or GCP Cloud Certification; FinOps Practitioner, Cloud Financial Management, Total Business Management or equivalent certifications would be an asset.
  • Experience in cloud would be an asset.
  • Experience in Power BI would be an asset.
