Launch your accounting career with McCain Foods' CPA Ontario Pre-Approved Rotational Program. This 30-month program is designed for early-career talent looking to earn their CPA designation while gaining hands-on experience across key finance and accounting functions in a global organization.
You'll build practical skills, explore different career paths, and develop a strong professional foundation-while receiving the support and resources you need to succeed. At McCain, this isn't just a program-it's the start of your future.
Program Highlights
  • CPA Ontario Pre-Approved Program - all rotations are pre-approved with CPA for practical experience
  • 30-month rotational structure with exposure to multiple finance and accounting functions

Rotation Experience
You'll rotate through several core areas, which may include:
  • Corporate Accounting (Financial Reporting)
  • Internal Audit
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Corporate Taxation
  • Others

Program Structure:
  • Two 12-month rotations (one of these being Corporate Accounting or Internal Audit) and one 6-month rotation
  • Please note the rotations and order may vary based on business needs and development goals

What You'll Receive
  • Comprehensive preparatory training and study leave to support your preparation for CPA examinations (including full reimbursements to participate in Densmore training)
  • Eligibility for reimbursement for CPA PEP or GDIP programs up to the cost of the CPA PEP program

  • Exposure to diverse operational areas, providing valuable insights from both a consolidated and regional perspective

What you'll need to be successful.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field (completed prior to program start), including the required CPA Ontario prerequisite courses
  • A clear interest in pursuing your CPA designation
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically or internationally as part of certain rotational assignments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail, with a passion for problem-solving
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A self-motivated, hands-on mindset with a drive to deliver results and learn continuously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal)

Compensation Package : $58,800.00 - $78,500.00 . CAD annually + Bonus Eligibility
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
