The Senior Financial Analyst will manage financial planning, reporting, and analysis while collaborating across teams to drive business objectives and enhance operational performance.
We are looking for a talented Financial Analyst – Senior to join our Finance team of Cummins Drivetrain and Braking Systems (CDBS) in Troy, MI.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Collaborate closely with Cummins Drivetrain and Braking Systems Leadership to execute monthly, quarterly, and annual planning, forecasting, and reporting activities
- Attend and represent the finance function in the monthly Integrated Business Planning reviews. While partnering with the Product, Demand and Supply Chain functions to generate meaningful financial analysis based on the outcome of those reviews
- Manage the 3–5-year financial simulation process (long-term planning model)
- Facilitate reviews with Cummins Drivetrain and Braking Systems Leadership of the long-term planning model and monitor and communicate effectively changes to the plans
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial metrics included in the Annual Operating Plan and the Long-term financial outlook
- Support PFR functional excellence across processes and tools to enable accurate and timely reporting that supports informed decision-making
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required. Progress toward Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification preferred.
Experience:
Intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.
