A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistic

The Business Finance Analyst is a key strategic partner to the organization, responsible for providing data-driven insights to support business decisions. This role plays a critical part in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and performance management, working closely with operations to challenge assumptions and improve financial outcomes. The ideal candidate will leverage data analytics and financial modeling to drive efficiency, cost optimization, and business growth. 

Responsibilities 

Business Acumen 

  • Prepare, analyze, and present to their direct team financial performance, trends, and variances. 

  • Provide recommendations to resolve ongoing or ad hoc issues. 

  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. 

Data Strategy & AI Readiness 

  • Help automate and improve processes using automation tool and AI. 

  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with reporting standards. 

  • Process Optimization & Automation 

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and propose corrective actions. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional analysts to align financial strategies. 

Leadership & Talent Development 

  • Contribute to documentation of processes. 

  • Share knowledge with junior analysts. 

FP& A  

  • Prepare expense variance reports that provide meaningful analysis, in-depth review, and insightful commentary on monthly financial results on a monthly basis. 

  • Perform analysis of income statement accounts and provide related explanations according to established templates. 

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies and propose solutions or corrective measures where necessary. 

  • Provide analytical support for budgeting by organizing the collection and interpretation of appropriate data from all departments within the financial operations group. 

  • Provide weekly analyses and reports to support cash flow management for the accounts payable group. 

  • Assist the financial operations group in further automating and improving current processes, using advanced skills in Power BI, etc. 

  • Perform insightful and timely analyses to investigate and resolve common or one-off issues related to month-end, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory. 

Qualifications 

Required: 

            Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,  Finance, Economics, or Business.  

      CPA obtained or in progress, or relevant experience. 

                2-5 years of experience in finance, FP&A, business analytics, or a related field.

                Strong skills in financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis. 

                Proficiency in Power BI, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.). 

                Ability to work with large datasets and present clear, actionable insights. 

                Strong business acumen and ability to challenge operational assumptions. 

                Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. 

 

Preferred: 

                Experience with SQL, Python, or other advanced data analytics tools. 

                Exposure to AI-driven analytics and automation in financial planning.
