Position Description

 

A growing and dynamic team is looking to expand in Montreal. We are responsible for a suit of enterprise-wide risk management applications. We are currently looking for a developer to joing Risk 1 - firm's end of day market risk repository. The ideal candidate will have both ETL and Java experince (data warehousing experience very usefull). He/she needs to be a self starter and work well in a team environment.

Scope of work will include both maintenace and extension for the existing mission critical system and also building the new generation of the firm's strategic end of day repository.


Qualifications

Skills Required (Must Have)

- Minimum 2+ years of Java.
- Minimum 2+ years Informatica.
- Database skills: SQL, Stored procedures
- Data structures and some knowledge of design patterns a must.
- Good analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task.
- Self-motivated.

Skills desired ( Good to have )

Business Objects Reporting or Crystal a plus.

DB2 a plus.
Perl skills a plus and understanding of basic unix shell scripts
Financial Industry experience a plus.
