As the Enterprise Account Executive at Retell AI, you will define and own our enterprise sales strategy as we scale from $40M to $100M+ ARR. You will be directly responsible for closing high-value enterprise deals while building the systems, processes, and team to capture massive market demand. This is a unique, ground-floor opportunity to become Retell AI's first sales leader, reporting directly to the CEO and shaping our go-to-market approach for years to come. You will join a fast-moving, product-led startup with deep enterprise interest and clear product–market fit, leveraging your proven track record in scaling complex B2B enterprise sales to build lasting customer relationships and create repeatable sales motions. You will have the autonomy to run deals end-to-end, experiment with new strategies, and directly influence both our growth trajectory and our company culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEnterprise Deal Ownership: Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach to close, including discovery, ROI framing, technical validation, solution positioning, and commercial negotiation.
Opportunity Qualification (MEDDPICC): Rigorously qualify deals using MEDDPICC to map stakeholders, understand decision criteria, identify customer pain points, drive urgency, and accurately forecast pipeline.
Consultative Selling: Deeply understand customers' strategic objectives, operational challenges, and business requirements to identify opportunities, recommend tailored solutions, and drive expansion.
Stakeholder Relationship Building:
Cultivate trusted relationships across multiple stakeholders (executives, CX leaders, product teams, and technical champions) to effectively navigate complex procurement processes.
Technical Collaboration: Partner closely with Retell AI’s engineering and deployment teams to validate technical fit, present compelling demos, and deliver customized solutions.
Customer Advocacy & Feedback: Act as the primary advocate for customers, regularly sharing customer insights and feedback with product and leadership teams to help shape Retell AI’s product direction and priorities.
Have 3–7 years of experience in strategic or enterprise sales
Consistently exceed targets in enterprise or upper mid-market deals and know how to grow and expand large, complex accounts
Have closed $250k–$1M+ ACV deals involving technical products and integrations
Take a consultative, value-driven approach to selling and are comfortable running MEDDPICC-style sales processes
Communicate with clarity and confidence—whether presenting, negotiating, or building trust with stakeholders
Bring strong social intelligence and enjoy building long-term relationships
Show up as a true sales athlete: hungry, sharp, and competitive in every deal
Operate with a strong ownership mindset, pushing deals forward and removing blockers independently
Stay highly organized and process-driven, using CRM and sales tools to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
Bonus: have experience selling conversational AI, contact center, or adjacent products
On Target Earnings: $230K – $320K (Offers equity + commission)
