About the role

Blackbaud is the world’s leading software provider exclusively dedicated to powering social impact. We deliver essential solutions—from CRM and enrollment management to tuition billing, fundraising, and digital engagement—that enable K-12 schools to thrive. In Canada, we support private schools and other non-public educational institutions in achieving their missions.

The Enterprise Account Executive joins our K-12 Education team in Canada, currently working with hundreds of schools across the country through:

  • Leading K-12 CRM and Enrollment Solutions that help schools manage admissions, enrollment, and family engagement seamlessly.
  • Tuition and Financial Aid Management technology that supports affordability and accessibility for families.
  • Fundraising and Advancement Tools that empower schools to raise millions in support of their programs.
  • Additional world-class solutions for student information systems, learning management, and digital marketing.

What you’ll do

You will support and expand the great work our current Canadian K-12 customers are already doing while also prospecting and onboarding new schools onto our solutions. The Account Executive will drive and strategize toward achieving sales goals to help schools deliver exceptional experiences for students and families by:

  • Managing sales activities to exceed assigned revenue objectives (quota).
  • Creating tactical and strategic plans with measurable time frames to penetrate accounts.
  • Collaborating with Customer Success Managers to generate additional revenue from existing clients.
  • Leading and managing Blackbaud’s Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for strategic pursuits.
  • Becoming a trusted advisor and establishing executive relationships at senior levels within school leadership teams.
  • Providing cross-functional leadership and managing resources such as online demonstrations and proposals to educate clients, align partners, and advance sales cycles.
  • Working closely with our professional services team to present a total solution.
  • Building and maintaining an accurate pipeline and timely sales forecasts to management.
  • Developing a deep understanding of K-12 education trends and challenges.
  • Limited travel throughout Canada and the United States for staff meetings, industry conferences, and on-site engagements at schools.

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years’ experience selling enterprise systems (e.g., SaaS, CRM) or relevant industry experience within the K-12 education sector (e.g., admissions, enrollment, advancement, or school operations). We are looking for someone who either has sales experience in the K-12 space or has worked directly in K-12 schools and can leverage that experience as a trusted advisor.
  • Proven experience developing, managing, and/or responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Knowledge and experience working within a solution-selling or consultative selling methodology.
  • Experience navigating complex environments and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly entrepreneurial and remote-first work culture.
  • Must be located in Canada; Greater Toronto Area is preferred but not required.
