The Director, Sales - Enterprise manages a sales team in Eastern Canada, driving business growth through channel sales, coaching, and team development.
Position Overview and Objective
The Director, Sales – Enterprise leads and manages a high-performance team of quota-carrying Account Executives to drive sales across the Eastern Canada region. This individual must bring proven leadership experience, strong channel sales expertise, and a confident personality to effectively influence and inspire both internal teams and external partners.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties- Lead and manage a high-performance team of sales individuals to drive business in Eastern Canada.
- Provide clear direction, motivation, and accountability to ensure team success.
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the channel sales ecosystem, leveraging partners to maximize regional growth.
- Monitor, review, and coach AR calls and processes.
- Maintain and manage weekly sales activity.
- Develop training materials to onboard and develop new hire AR team members.
- Promote team development by collaborating internally on hiring, onboarding, and ongoing professional development of assigned staff.
- Assist in the execution and creation of new sales and marketing strategies tailored for the Eastern Canada market.
- Keep current on AWN product features, advantages, benefits, and selling points.
- Demonstrated success in leading and managing a sales team.
- Strong personality with the ability to influence, negotiate, and lead confidently.
- Proven channel sales expertise with strong partner relationship management.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills.
- Strong collaboration and teambuilding skills.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Previous Sales Management and Leadership experience.
- 5+ years of Business-to-Business (B2B) sales experience.
- Technology sales history with a significant amount of inside sales experience.
- Advanced expertise in data-centric salesforce management and opportunity methodologies.
- Experience in cloud technology, security, SaaS, and enterprise software strongly preferred.
- Prior success driving sales in a regional leadership capacity, ideally in Eastern Canada.
Typically 50% or less of business travel.
