Director, Product Management

Job Summary

Builds, mentors and leads a team of product managers to achieve the goals of the organization.

Responsibilities

Own the customer and employee experience for Pre-Sales Experience and the lead and account & contact domains 

  • Gather the voice of the customer and employees regarding process and system interactions

  • Apply user-centered design principles and practices to pre-sales, lead and account setup process, policy, and system transformation, management and improvement 

  • Capture customer and employee business requirements into Epics

  • Minimize end user disruption through evolutionary UI change where possible

  • Communicate and train process and UI change where necessary

Define Pre-Sales QTC Experience vision and roadmaps 

  • Develop overall Pre-Sales QTC experience vision, including target company process, policy, and tooling in collaboration with key customer, marketing, revenue operations and sales leadership stakeholders 

  • Partner with downstream teams to deliver continuous and optimal end to end experience 

  • Document business process and system interactions within lead and account & contact domains. Manage contracts with upstream and downstream domains and users

  • Develop strategy and process roadmap, driving to holistic solutions 

  • In collaboration with key stakeholders, envision the targeted experience and identify business outcomes 

 

Responsible for shaping the backlog to deliver Pre-Sales Experience vision 

  • Create and maintain prioritized roadmaps for Pre-Sales experience. Prioritize epics based on delivery capacity and value 

  • Manage a team of domain Product Owners that support the Pre-Sales Experience  

  • Hire, coach and manage Product Owners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 5+ years of experience owning and delivering products

  • Strong leadership skills and the proven ability to drive organizational change

  • Strong communication skills with ability to align the organization on complex technical decisions

  • Active coach and mentor whose goals are to grow and maximize team potential

  • Experience managing geographically distributed teams

Knowledge

  • Agile Development & Methodologies, preferably in large organizations

  • Sales process and sales support structuring

  • Product Vision and Roadmap Creation

  • Experience with quote to cash systems and transformation

  • Prioritization, planning and backlog management
