Position Overview: The Sr. Director, Product Management owns the product strategy and roadmap for Entrust’s Identity Access Management (IAM) products and services. The successful candidate will bring leadership and a disciplined, business-oriented approach to product planning, position, placement and promotions. The Sr. Director, Product Management translates his/her knowledge into competitive strategies, plans and specific marketing requirements that drive engineering and ultimately deliver products and services with unique value to customers. As a member of the product management team, you will have end-end ownership of our IAM products and services and must be capable of leading a team of Product Managers.

 Responsibilities: 

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap across product portfolio.
  • Create business plans for products within the portfolio that define and justify the product investment, revenue and ROI opportunity of new and existing programs.
  • Ensure alignment with business goals.
    Analyzing markets, identifying and segmenting key customer groups, competitive research, analyzing industry and technology trends, and incorporating these into product plans for IAM that optimize the tradeoffs between market opportunities, product content, and product timing
  • Defining the customer experience, product features, and business model
  • Finding opportunities to innovate on behalf of our customers
  • Identifying and driving operational improvements and cost reductions
  • Effectively communicate and rally appropriate business leaders and cross functional teams towards successful execution of strategies to achieve annual business goals
  • Ensure technical assessments of complimentary and competitive product solutions
  • Define clear differentiated value proposition direction to the company and the market
  • Assist with strategic partnering activities and negotiations which strengthens Entrust’s value proposition in the specific markets
  • Define and document product requirements through epics and user stories

Basic Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • 15+ years senior software product management experience
  • Experience working with SaaS based solutions
  • Ability to translate extensive Product Management and broader business knowledge into competitive strategies, plans and specific marketing requirements that drive engineering to deliver products and services with unique value to customers.
  • Advanced organizational leadership.
  • Previous management-level strategy development and execution experience within global corporation
  • Success creating and executing diverse go-to-market plans and roadmaps
  • Demonstrated success driving results that exceed the market growth.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and influencing cross-functional international teams. Able to lead multi-functional discussions which seeks alignment on decisions
  • Proven ability to influence and drive change in matrix organization
  • Must be able to understand and be comfortable communicating technical product details

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • MBA
  • Experience in one or more of the following fields - Cybersecurity, Identity and Access Management, Multifactor Authentication, Fraud
  • Knowledge in the bank consumer, government employee/citizen markets

Compensation Range:


The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $215,192-$315,615 per year (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan. In addition to your pay, Entrust offers eligible colleagues and their dependents comprehensive health and well-being programs which include medical, vision, dental, a generous 401(k) matching contribution, life and disability insurance, mental health coaching, virtual fitness programs, paid personal time off plus 12 paid holidays, parental leave and education reimbursement.
