Position Overview:   

The Director, Product Compliance will lead a team of regulatory, compliance and policy experts, and have responsibility for ensuring compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and industry standards, requirements, and related audits for Entrust’s Digital Security Solutions portfolio. 

The Director, Product Compliance must be organized, efficient and flexible; work well under pressure; understand highly technical products and services; develop strong, cross-functional partnerships; and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:   

The following represent the key responsibilities of the role as they exist today.  This role may expand to include responsibilities that may be new to the Director, Product Compliance.

 

Product Compliance

  • Develop, implement and enforce procedures and policies to ensure compliance of Entrust’s digital security solutions product portfolio against applicable legal, regulatory, and certification requirements.

  • Lead required internal and external audits.

  • Perform risk assessments to identify areas of vulnerability related to compliance and security, and manage tracking and updating of risks in manual or GRC tools.

  • Maintain and obtain needed product accreditations and certifications.

  • Manage Entrust’s relationships with third-party partners, shared service providers, external auditors and regulators.

  • Work across teams and departments as needed to provide guidance on compliance and security requirements and controls.

  • Oversee incident handling and change management procedures.

  • Act as Entrust’s designated Policy Authority.

  • Provide updates to senior leadership, including quarterly updates to the Compliance Governance Board.

   

Leadership & People Management 

  • Perform general management responsibilities such as hiring, performance management, performance reviews, and individual development activities. 

  • Monitor team performance against department standards and ensure that these standards are consistently met or exceeded. 

  • Act as escalation point for issues and provide leadership and guidance to team. 

  • Provide necessary work direction and manage projects effectively through planning, organization and project management. 

 

Basic Qualifications:  

  • Minimum of 10+ years progressive, applicable experience 

  • 8+ years of experience building and managing a high performing compliance team.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Arts, Science or other relevant field 

  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Understanding of, and experience with, public trust offering requirements including those from the CA/Browser Forum, EIDaS, and other bodies focused on public trust oversight.

  • Drive Entrust’s success in the market by proactively delivering strong compliance as a competitive differentiator.

  • Understanding of, and experience with one or more of the following: hardware security modules (HSMs), Key Management (KMS), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM), Document Signing, and Identity and Access Management, and the corresponding standards, policies, regulatory frameworks, and certifications for products in these categories.

Compensation Range:


The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $157,472-$230,958 per year (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan. In addition to your pay, Entrust offers eligible colleagues and their dependents comprehensive health and well-being programs which include medical, vision, dental, a generous 401(k) matching contribution, life and disability insurance, mental health coaching, virtual fitness programs, paid personal time off plus 12 paid holidays, parental leave and education reimbursement.
