As our Director of Engineering, Command, you'll define and execute Coveo's Command technology vision, making it the trusted operating layer for customers by driving innovation in insight, control, and AI workflows while scaling teams that create high-impact product experiences.

You'll lead high-performing engineering teams building the products that help customers gain insight, take action, and unlock the full value of Coveo's AI platform. As our Director of Engineering, Command, you will:

  • Lead and grow multiple engineering teams responsible for the Command product area, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing environment.
  • Define and execute the technical vision and roadmap in partnership with Engineering and Product leadership, ensuring alignment with Coveo's long-term strategy.
  • Drive the delivery of secure, scalable, and reliable software while continuously raising the bar for engineering quality, operational excellence, and customer value.
  • Collaborate with directors and executive leaders across the organization to align people, technology, and priorities while enabling effective cross-functional execution.
  • Champion product-minded engineering practices that empower teams to build intuitive operator experiences, AI-native workflows, and automation capabilities.
  • Mentor and develop engineering leaders, cultivating a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and innovation.

Here is what will qualify you for the role: 

  • 3+ years of experience leading managers within a software engineering organization developing Software as a Service (SaaS) products.
  • Experience leading customer-facing engineering teams that build solutions for enterprise customers.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical and business leaders across the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with execution while leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
