About the Role

At ROLLER, we’re building a Business Value Consulting team to bring consistency, credibility, and confidence to how we articulate ROI across every customer segment. As a Director of Business Value Consulting, you’ll be the dedicated owner of value storytelling and pilot success. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure every prospect and customer clearly understands the impact ROLLER delivers—grounded in real data, not inflated assumptions. This is a high-visibility, strategic role where you’ll design frameworks, define success metrics, and develop scalable ROI models that accelerate deal velocity, improve win rates, and strengthen long-term customer partnerships. This position reports to the Head of Pricing.

What You'll Do
  • Operate a value-focused deal desk with Account Executives (AEs) to build ROI models and track pilot success.
  • Create and maintain standardized ROI calculators, templates, and vertical-specific value frameworks.
  • Train SDRs, AEs, and CSMs to independently communicate ROLLER’s value with credibility.
  • Partner with Customer Success to quantify realized ROI and support expansion and retention motions.
  • Develop and validate proof points for use in marketing campaigns, customer stories, and product marketing.
  • Publish industry benchmarks using anonymized customer outcomes.
  • Build lightweight ROI tools that support top-of-funnel prospecting and campaigns.
  • QA value claims to ensure accuracy and credibility in customer-facing and market-facing content.
  • Provide insights to Monetization and Product teams to influence roadmap, pricing, and future value frameworks.

About You
  • Proven experience in Business Value Consulting, Sales Engineering, Strategy Consulting, or related roles where ROI storytelling and value quantification were core.
  • You're based in the San Francisco area (Walnut Creek), and interested in a hybrid in-office environment.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to design, validate, and communicate ROI models.
  • Comfortable working directly with executives and guiding customer-facing teams on how to frame business value.
  • Skilled at turning raw customer data into credible benchmarks, insights, and stories.
  • Experience collaborating across Sales, CS, Product, and Marketing to align on success criteria and outcomes.
  • Excellent communicator who can distill complex data into clear, compelling executive narratives.
  • Hands-on builder mindset—able to create tools, frameworks, and repeatable processes that scale.
  • A bias for action, with the ability to thrive in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.

Compensation

The total compensation range for this position, including base salary and target bonus, is $200,000 – $276,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Perks!
  • Attractive compensation package and benefits.
  • You get to work on a category-leading product that customers love in a fun, high-growth industry! Check our Capterra and G2 reviews.
  • Paid leave for vacation, illness, and observed holidays.
  • 4 ROLLER Recharge days per year (When we hit our goals each quarter, we take a well-earned day off together to relax, recharge, and celebrate our wins).
  • 16 weeks paid Parental leave for primary carers and 4 weeks paid Parental leave for secondary carers.
  • Fully paid medical insurance.
  • 401(k) Plan with a 100% match on contributions up to 5%.
  • Engage in our ‘Vibe Tribe’ - led by our team members; you can contribute to company-wide initiatives directly. Regular events and social activities, fundraising & cause-related campaigns... you name it. We're willing to make it happen!
  • Team member Assistance Program to proactively support our team's health and well-being, access to coaching, education modules, weekly webinars, and more.
  • Highly flexible work environment with an All Access pass to WeWork, depending on your location.
  • Work with a driven, fun, and switched-on team that likes to raise the bar in all we do.
