Salary range (but not limited to):

101,800 - 124,400

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role

En tant que directeur d’unité, vous vous joindrez à l’équipe de dirigeants de la responsabilité civile.

Notre équipe étant grandissante, le support et le développement de ces équipes seront mis de l’avant.

Nous recherchons un candidat qui sait investir dans ses gens, susciter l’engagement, instaurer la confiance et qui est capable de promouvoir la vision et les valeurs de l’entreprise.

Vous devrez appuyer les employés d’un point de vue technique en répondant à des questions variées sur la couverture d’assurance et la responsabilité, tout en contribuant à l’atteinte des objectifs de l’entreprise, à la gestion efficace des opérations, à la planification des effectifs, au respect des budgets tout en priorisant le service client.

Ce que vous accomplirez chez nous :

  • Participer à l’élaboration et à la mise en œuvre des plans d’affaires et gérer les opérations pour atteindre les principaux objectifs de l’entreprise.
  • Assurer un leadership efficace, motiver les employés et être responsable de l’embauche des employés et de l’évaluation des performances.
  • Assurer l’encadrement des compétences techniques et professionnelles de votre équipe et faciliter l’apprentissage continu en élaborant des plans de développement solides pour vos employés.
  • Aider les employés dans la prise de décision quant à la recevabilité d’une réclamation, la couverture d’assurance et la responsabilité.
  • Développer, recommander et mettre en œuvre des initiatives de gestion et d’organisation pour soutenir les stratégies de l’entreprise, y compris les changements de structure organisationnelle et les améliorations des processus/technologies.
  • Agir comme consultant sur les questions liées aux sinistres, telles que la détermination de la responsabilité, l’interprétation des polices et la négociation des règlements pour aider à les résoudre.
  • Assurer la liaison avec d’autres services et experts en sinistre sur des questions techniques et administratives.
  • Entretenir des relations d’affaires respectueuses avec les courtiers, les fournisseurs de services, les cabinets d’avocats et les groupes de clients internes.

Ce que vous mettrez à profit :

  • Diplôme collégial ou universitaire ou toute combinaison de formation et d’expérience jugée pertinente pour le poste.
  • Détenir un certificat d’expert en sinistre 5A
  • Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience en analyse de contrats d’assurance et en responsabilité civile (gestion de dossiers RC).
  • Expérience en gestion
  • Excellentes aptitudes à la communication et aux relations interpersonnelles avec le personnel de tous les niveaux.
  • Expérience avec l’encadrement et le perfectionnement des employés.
  • Compétences avérées en matière de leadership.
  • Excellentes compétences en matière de service à la clientèle.
  • Connaissances des règlements provinciaux sur l’assurance automobile, l’assurance habitation et l’assurance responsabilité civile.
  • Bilingue (français et anglais)] Nécessité d’interagir sur une base régulière avec des collègues partout au pays.
