Job Description

The Data Analyst, Audience Analytics, will be the main analytics owner of several major game franchises, responsible for gathering and analyzing customer data across their portfolio and answering all kinds of analytics questions from business and marketing stakeholders. Working closely with production and marketing teams, you will provide clear insights about consumer behaviors, drive strategic recommendations, and support audience-centric projects throughout the entire life cycle of a game, across acquisition, retention, brand circulation, and more. You will be a key decision driver, translating data into actionable directions that directly shape how teams engage with their players.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Analytics

  • Create, manage and distribute data and insights utilizing analytics tools (SQL, Python)
  • Analyze customer data to gather knowledge, generate insights, create value and support decision-making
  • Design and build player clustering models to define and refine audience profiles across the game lifecycle
  • Maintain and update audience segmentations to ensure relevance as player behaviors and business contexts evolve
  • Support brand circulation strategies by identifying cross-game audience overlaps and player migration patterns
  • Identify levers of audience segmentation, monitor their evolutions and their impact on business KPIs
  • Apply a variety of visualization techniques and design the content and appearance of data visuals

Project Management & Collaboration

  • Own end-to-end analytical projects: scope, plan, execute and deliver, ensuring stakeholders are aligned throughout
  • Track project progress, communicate status and manage priorities across multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Translate business questions and challenges from stakeholders into Audience Analytics projects
  • Be the main point of contact of the stakeholder teams; understand the brand and marketing objectives and the major initiatives; identify the most relevant methodology to answer the need; deliver insights
  • Conduct meetings and coordinate different interlocutors (finance, research, marketing, …)
  • Work closely with CRM and media teams, understand their technical environment and constraints, propose an adapted approach to their operational needs
  • Provide strategic audience recommendations to stakeholders

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Master’s degree (MA/MBA) preferred — Marketing, Marketing Research, Statistics, or Econometrics
  • 2+ years of experience as a data analyst
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis
  • Experience with clustering and segmentation methods (k-means, hierarchical clustering, RFM, or similar)
  • Strong project management skills: ability to track multiple workstreams, manage timelines and communicate progress clearly
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable and strategic recommendations
  • Strong quantitative skills, and experience utilizing scientific analytic methods and quantitative analysis techniques
  • Experience working with lakehouse data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, or similar) is a plus
  • Proactivity and creativity with data
  • Demonstrated success presenting complex qualitative and quantitative data in a clear and compelling manner
  • Naturally curious, analytics-driven mindset; comfortable challenging assumptions
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
