QuadReal’s Enterprise Data & Analytics Team is seeking a permanent Data Analyst Lead to advance enterprise data platform reporting. Reporting to the Director, Data Solutions, this role is responsible for leading a squad dedicated to Equity Financial reporting. We’re looking for an experienced individual who is committed to understanding their stakeholders, collaborating cross-functionally, improving and following requirements and gathering and development best practices, and has a history of delivering.  This role will play a critical part in aligning business needs with data capabilities, ensuring the delivery of actionable insights and operational transparency. The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand business priorities, translate them into meaningful measures of success, and guide the team toward delivering reporting that drives real decision-making impact.
Working closely with stakeholders from the Finance and Property Management functions, as well as IT, data, and engineering teams, the ideal candidate will bring a strong background in data/reporting strategy, product management, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Engagement
    Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine detailed reporting and dashboard requirements.
  • Requirements Definition
    Translate business needs into clear, actionable product requirements and documentation for data solutions, with a focus on identifying the metrics, dashboards and needed to best enable business outcomes.
  • System Alignment
    Ensure requirements are aligned with the capabilities and limitations of data applications (ex., dbt, Fabric) and source systems (ex., Yardi Voyager)
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    Partner with data engineering, BI developers, project management, and IT teams to validate feasibility and ensure smooth handoff for implementation.
  • Process Improvement
    Identify gaps in current reporting workflows and propose scalable, data-driven improvements that strengthen the connection between business decisions and measurable results.
  • Status Reporting
    Provide regular updates to project sponsors and leadership on progress, risks, and next steps.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data product management, business analysis, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a data analyst.
  • Proven ability to connect business objectives with relevant metrics and reporting outputs.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to define what success looks like in measurable terms.
  • Proven experience gathering reporting and dashboard requirements in complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing (e.g., MS Fabric, dbt), reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and data governance.
  • Familiarity with Yardi (or similar enterprise platforms).
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Experience in real estate, leasing, or marketing domains is a plus.
  • Previous experience in leading data analytics teams.
