We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Data Analyst to focus on delivery of key risk, control and performance metrics. The qualified candidate will bring their expertise in data mining, analytics and visualizations to define and create key control and performance measuring metrics.

In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Business Analysis III position at Director level, which is part of the job family responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying needs, and establishing requirements to enhance efficiency and productivity through a blend of business acumen and analytical skills.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Identifying and validating data sources that create and support various metrics.

  • Partnering with control owners, project managers and data providers to on-board new data feeds.

  • Cleansing and preparation of data for analysis.

  • Resolving issues such as missing or inconsistent data.

  • Aligning multiple large datasets with varying types and formats.

  • Creation and presentation of metric calculations.

  • Visualization and representation of metric graphs and charts.

  • Creation of key metrics documentation.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • At least 4 years of demonstrable data analysis experience.

  • Experience in delivery of technology related metrics and analytics.

  • Excellent Excel skills including string manipulation functions, VLOOKUP’s, macros and Pivot tables

  • Excellent SQL skills including queries and working with relational databases

  • Experience in data visualization including high impact dashboards in Power BI

  • Basic understanding of technology risk and controls with a focus on data security a plus

  • Strong communication and organization skills

  • Naturally proactive and ability to thrive where there's ambiguity

  • Comfortable working with a high level of independence

  • An interest in emerging technologies such as Generative AI and developing real-life applications

  • Nice to have - Use of tools like Power Automate to driven efficiency

  • Nice to have - Expertise in data modelling such as star schema

  • Nice to have - Experience in writing DAX expressions for calculated measures
