We’re looking for a Cross Vertical Partnerships Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the VP of Partnerships, the Manager of Cross Vertical Partnerships will own some of our largest partnerships and help drive global and cross product partnership opportunities. This role will work closely with partnership teams across retail, hospitality, B2B, and golf to ensure partners integrated to multiple products have one point of contact and owner. Often managing our biggest and most complex partnerships at Lightspeed, this role will work closely with partners like Apple, Google, and Uber along with directly owning key cross vertical partnership categories like accounting, loyalty, and delivery.

As the Manager of Cross Vertical Partnerships, you will report directly to the VP of Partnerships. You’ll be responsible for managing partners directly and will collaborate closely with the wider partnerships, strategy, product, legal, and finance teams at Lightspeed to determine priorities for some of our largest partnerships at Lightspeed. In this role, you’ll work closely with a wide range of of different types of partners with often complex multifaceted ways of working with Lightspeed.

What you will be responsible for: 

  • Be the primary point of contact for cross vertical partners who work with Lightspeed across multiple product and multiple regions
  • Drive alignment on our our priorities with key strategic partners like Apple, Google, and Uber that work with Lightspeed across mulitple products, regions, and use cases
  • Own our key partner categories with a high degree of overlap across Lightspeed’s product verticals like accounting, loyalty, and delivery
  • Work with internal and external commercial and legal teams on negotiations and agreements with cross vertical partners
  • Schedule regular touch points with key partners and ensure our cross vertical partners can articulate Lightspeed’s priorities and how they can help
  • Act as a single point of contact for inbound partnership requests that would serve multiple product verticals and regions
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and consolidate agreements entities, regions, and multiple products with cross-vertical partners
  • Leverage connections and relationships with key cross vertical partners to identify industry trends and opportunities for Lightspeed

What you will be bringing to the team:

  • 3-5 years working in partnerships in in the point of sale, payments, or eCommerce space
  • Proven results working across legal, product, and commercial teams
  • Experience in a global SaaS environment, preference for fast-growth and global
  • Track record of being able to both set or shape strategy, as well as delivering executional plans that have measurable impact on the business.
  • Experience engaging at an executive level both internally with cross-functional groups and externally with partners
  • Proven record of leading a diverse, high performing team across geographical regions and experience building high-performing, inclusive teams
  • Exceptional written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of accountability, while also able to collaborate cross-functionally with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fluid, fast-paced, unpredictable environment
  • Unquestionable ethics, integrity and business judgment; you share our values, and work in accordance with those values
  • Highly motivated and adaptable with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a challenging, fast paced and team-oriented environment
