Relevant du surintendant, le ou la contremaître de chantier joue un rôle clé dans la bonne marche des opérations sur le terrain. Il ou elle participe activement à la planification, à l’organisation et à la coordination des équipes et des équipements. L’objectif ? Assurer que le travail livré soit à la hauteur des attentes du client, tout en veillant à ce que le chantier roule rondement.
Qu'est-ce que ça fait, un.e contremaître ?
- Collabore à l’identification des risques sur le chantier;
- Applique les mesures de sécurité nécessaires à l’emploi;
- Travaille en collaboration avec le chargé de projet, l’adjoint de projet, le surintendant, la responsable RH et la préventionniste;
- Supervise le travail des employés sur le chantier;
- Voit au respect des normes, des lois et des règlements sur le chantier;
- Participe aux communications externes avec les clients et les suivis;
- Procède à la compilation de toutes données nécessaires au projet et les communique au surintendant et/ou chargé de projet, incluant les non-conformités et les actions qui en découlent;
- Faire la gestion de plusieurs employés en s’assurant de respecter les procédures et normes établis par le département des ressources humaines et les normes du travail;
- Toutes autres tâches connexes.
Qu'est-ce que ça te prend pour appliquer ?
- Expérience en tant que contremaître sur un chantier minier et/ou civil;
- Expérience dans la conduite de machinerie lourde ainsi qu'une carte CCQ valide;
- Sens de l'organisation et autonomie.
