Job Description

Job Title: Contract Recruiter, Talent Attraction

Location: Toronto - 181 Bay Street

Duration: 6 months (Fixed Term Contractor) with extension opportunity

Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Attraction Contract Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for various roles within Brookfield Canada. This role requires a deep understanding of recruitment processes, excellent communication/negotiation/influencing skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process (ie. handling a full requisition load) independently from start to finish, including job postings, candidate communication, interview scheduling and offer negotiations.

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.

  • Partnering with key stakeholders - HRBP,s Compensation and HR Operations to effectively deliver value add partnership to the respective businesses across BAM Canada.

  • Source and attract high-quality candidates through various channels, including Linked In, industry specific job boards, social media, and networking.

  • Conduct thorough candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications and alignment with the attributes of a Brookfield leader.

  • Provide a positive candidate experience by ensuring timely communication and feedback throughout the recruitment process

  • Collaborate with the Talent Attraction team to continuously improve recruitment processes and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree; Preferably: Human Resouces, Administration, Finance or a related field.

  • 5- 10 years of proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in a corporate environment (ie. Financial Services, Asset Management, Big 4 Consulting or recruitment agency setting).

  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and techniques.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficiency in using ATS Workday, comfortable with data, reporting & analytics and other recruitment tools.
