Job Description
About the Role:
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across assigned sites or groups using Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies.
Drive operational excellence by enhancing safety, process efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities may include:
- Lead the implementation of Lean and Six Sigma principles to improve efficiency, eliminate waste, and enhance quality across the function.
- Facilitate Kaizen and other continuous improvement (CI) initiatives, guiding cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and optimize processes.
- Train and coach operational teams in CI methodologies, promoting effective use of Lean tools to drive improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with Finance and Transformation teams to track cost reductions and performance improvements, documenting measurable impacts.
- Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for CI projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely achievement of results.
- Share best practices across the organization, encouraging a collaborative environment to drive operational excellence and continuous learning.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with CI initiatives and adherence to Brambles Global OpenX standards.
Major/Key Accountabilities

Drive the implementation of innovative and creative ideas, methods, and process improvements for all CHEP SC/3rd Party Operations.

Promote operational excellence and a culture of continuous improvement, challenge the status quo persistently.

Serve as a change agent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and driving actions across various levels of the organization to ensure added value and the effectiveness of implemented processes and tools.

Identify improvement opportunities, develop, and manage improvement plans, and lead improvement initiatives with SC champions and process owners. Identify gaps and design new processes, while improving safety performance metric, reduce waste, and save costs.

Develop analyses and models for projects and continuous improvement of processes, working collaboratively across functions to develop optimal low cost/high value solutions as prioritized by Supply Chain leadership.

Provide robust data analysis focused on cost reductions, process improvements, and strategic initiatives for the Canadian Operations and Supply Chain team.

Drive continuous improvement training program within CHEP / 3PL operations, in collaboration with plant champions and OPEX team, provide training and coaching to employees on lean and continuous improvement methodologies to execute improvement projects.

Analyze data using LEAN Six Sigma statistical data analysis methods.

Conduct problem-solving, root cause analysis, Gemba Walks, KAIZEN events, and CI improvement workshops.

Develop and analyze key performance indicators to monitor and track the impact and benefits of improvements in support of the company's objectives.

Implement and develop necessary procedures, tools, flow charts, templates and online tools and apps.

Assists plants with various operational issues, SAP, Procurement and Coupa.

Cerner les lacunes et concevoir de nouveaux processus, tout en améliorant les indices de mesure du rendement en matière de sécurité ainsi qu’en réduisant les pertes et les coûts.

Développer des analyses et des modèles pour les projets et l'amélioration continue des processus, en travaillant en collaboration avec les fonctions pour développer des solutions optimales à faible coût et grande valeur, en fonction des priorités de la direction de la chaîne d'approvisionnement.

Fournir des analyses robustes des données axées sur la réduction des coûts, l'amélioration des processus et les initiatives stratégiques pour l'équipe des opérations et de la chaîne d'approvisionnement au Canada.

Diriger le programme de formation en amélioration continue pour l’équipe de l’exploitation de CHEP et des établissements tiers, en collaboration avec les champions des usines et l'équipe OPEX, donner de la formation et offrir un encadrement aux employés sur les méthodologies d'amélioration continue et LEAN pour exécuter des projets d'amélioration.

Analyser les données à l'aide des méthodes d'analyse des données statistiques LEAN Six Sigma.

Mener des ateliers sur la résolution de problèmes, l'analyse des causes fondamentales, les inspections Gemba, les activités KAIZEN et l’amélioration continue.

Élaborer et analyser les indicateurs de rendement clés pour surveiller et suivre l'impact et les avantages des améliorations sur les objectifs de l'entreprise.

Mettre en œuvre et élaborer les procédures, les outils, les diagrammes de processus, les modèles et les outils et applications en ligne nécessaires.

Aider les usines à résoudre différents problèmes opérationnels, avec SAP, l’approvisionnement et Coupa.
