About the Role

As a Content Creator, you’ll focus on producing engaging content for automotive events, including racing, across North America. This role requires a flexible and passionate individual with a strong ability to travel frequently, capturing the excitement of racing and delivering social-first storytelling that resonates with our audience.

Responsibilities:
  • Content Production: Create high-quality videos and visual content for racing and automotive events, showcasing the excitement and dynamics of motorsports.
    Social-First Storytelling: Develop and execute compelling narratives that engage audiences across social media platforms, emphasizing the thrill of racing.
  • On-Site Coverage: Attend various racing events across North America, capturing live footage, behind-the-scenes moments, and interviews with drivers and fans.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Creative Director and other team members to align content with client objectives and brand messaging.
  • Editing & Post-Production: Edit raw footage into engaging content pieces that meet brand standards and audience expectations.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay updated on the latest trends in social media and motorsports, adapting content strategies to maximize engagement and reach.
  • Client Liaison: Build strong relationships with clients on-site, ensuring that content aligns with their vision and objectives.
  • Content Calendar Management: Help develop and maintain a content calendar that aligns with racing schedules and client campaigns.
About YouThe essentials:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a videographer/content creator, particularly in sports or racing environments.
  • Social Media Expertise: Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices for content sharing and audience engagement.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in video production and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Storytelling Ability: Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to craft narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently within North America to attend racing events and capture content.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Creativity & Innovation: A creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas and approaches to content creation.

What We Offer

Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

Salary Range
$65,000$72,000 CAD
