Joignez-vous à l'équipe d’Évaluation chez JLL à titre de Conseiller(e) principal(e) et devenez un acteur clé dans la réalisation de mandats d'évaluation immobilière complexes et stratégiques. Dans ce rôle spécialisé, vous réaliserez des évaluations d'actifs commerciaux, institutionnels et des terrains d’envergure dans des cas d'expropriation, de litiges et fiscalité foncière, en collaborant directement avec les membres chevronnés de l'équipe pour préparer des rapports narratifs détaillés destinés au dépôt auprès des tribunaux du Québec. Vous mettrez à profit votre expertise pour fournir des analyses approfondies qui soutiennent le processus de négociations. Ce poste offre une opportunité exceptionnelle d'appliquer votre expertise technique et vos compétences analytiques à des mandats stimulants tout en poursuivant votre développement professionnel dans l'un des segments les plus dynamiques de l'évaluation immobilière commerciale et des services-conseils.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien :

  • Réaliser des mandats d'évaluation immobilière complets pour des dossiers complexes impliquant des actifs commerciaux, institutionnels et des terrains d’envergure dans des cas d'expropriation, de litiges et de fiscalité foncière
  • Rechercher et collecter des données provenant de ressources internes et externes afin de faciliter des processus d'évaluation rigoureux et appuyé
  • Collaborer étroitement avec les membres seniors de l'équipe pour créer, réviser et préparer des rapports narratifs complets destinés au dépôt auprès des tribunaux du Québec
  • Préparer et participer aux séances de négociation avec les parties prenantes, les avocats et les experts
  • Améliorer continuellement vos compétences professionnelles et vos connaissances du marché par la participation à des conférences, des programmes de formation en ligne et des opportunités de développement professionnel
  • Soutenir l'équipe avec des tâches et responsabilités supplémentaires raisonnables assignées afin d'assurer la réussite des mandats

Qualifications requises :

  • Baccalauréat en administration avec spécialisation en gestion immobilière, combinaison de certificats incluant l'immobilier, ou formation équivalente
  • Plus de 5 ans d'expérience pertinente en évaluation et expertise immobilière
  • Membre actif en règle de l'Ordre des évaluateurs agréés du Québec ou de l’Institut canadien des évaluateurs
  • Excellente capacité à communiquer en français (parlé, lu et écrit), le bilinguisme français-anglais constitue un atout
  • Maîtrise démontrée de la suite Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook et PowerPoint), Microsoft Windows et Adobe Acrobat
  • Solide connaissance des thèmes clés et des tendances qui influencent les marchés financiers et l'investissement immobilier
  • Capacité éprouvée à maintenir la confidentialité, à exercer un jugement sûr et à travailler avec une supervision minimale

Qualifications préférées :

  • Souci du détail rigoureux allié à une curiosité intellectuelle pour les tendances du marché et les scénarios d'évaluation complexes
  • Capacité à exercer un jugement pragmatique dans des situations complexes exigeant une analyse poussée
  • Expérience en communication orale et écrite avec des locataires ou des partenaires (fournisseurs de services, cabinets d'avocats, pairs, banquiers, maisons de courtage, firmes d'analyse de crédit, agences de crédit, clients non francophones)
  • Aptitudes au réseautage au sein de la communauté d'affaires
  • Historique d'initiatives proactives et de développement professionnel autodidacte
  • Compétences exceptionnelles en gestion du temps et en organisation, avec capacité démontrée à s'adapter, à prioriser et à respecter les échéances dans un environnement dynamique

What this job involves:

Join JLL's Valuation team as a Senior Consultant and become a key contributor to complex, high-stakes real estate valuation mandates. In this specialized role, you will conduct valuations for commercial and institutional assets, large-scale land holdings in expropriation cases, litigation matters, and property-tax purposes working directly with senior team members to prepare comprehensive narrative reports for filing with Quebec Courts. You will leverage your expertise to provide critical insights that support the negotiation process. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to apply your technical expertise and analytical skills to challenging assignments while advancing your professional development in one of the most dynamic segments of commercial real estate valuation advisory services.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Conduct comprehensive real estate valuation mandates for complex cases involving commercial and institutional assets, large-scale land in expropriation cases, litigation matters, and property-tax purposes
  • Research and collect data from internal and external resources to facilitate accurate and well-supported valuation processes
  • Collaborate closely with senior team members to create, edit, and prepare comprehensive narrative reports for filing with Quebec Courts
  • Prepare for and participate in negotiation sessions with stakeholders and legal representatives and experts
  • Continuously enhance your professional skills and market knowledge through participation in industry conferences, online learning programs, and professional development opportunities
  • Support the team with additional reasonable tasks and responsibilities as assigned to ensure successful mandate completion

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in administration with a focus on real estate management, combination of certificates including real estate, or equivalent education
  • More than 5 years of relevant experience in real estate valuation and appraisal
  • Active member in good standing of the Ordre des évaluateurs agréés du Québec or with the Appraisal Institute of Canada (EA or AACI)
  • Excellent ability to communicate in French (spoken, read, and written), bilingual French and English is an asset
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), Microsoft Windows, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong knowledge of key themes and trends impacting capital markets and investment real estate
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and work with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated attention to detail combined with intellectual curiosity about market trends and complex valuation scenarios
  • Ability to demonstrate pragmatic judgment in complex situations requiring thorough analysis
  • Experience with oral and/or written interactions with tenants or external partners (service providers, law firms, peers, bankers, brokerage firms, credit analysis firms, credit agencies, non-francophone clients)
  • Networking capabilities within the business community
  • Track record of proactive initiative and self-directed professional development
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills with proven ability to adapt, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
