About Us

Embedding VC is an early-stage venture fund investing at the frontier of AI. Embedding Labs is our sister studio, where we incubate and build AI-native companies from scratch alongside founders.

We're looking for a Chief of Staff who can move fluidly between both sides of the house: helping the fund run better and helping the studio build faster.

The Role

This is a hybrid operator role for someone who is comfortable being hands-on with AI tools, telling our story to the outside world, and keeping the internal machine running smoothly. You'll work directly with the founding team across investment, community, and company-building workstreams.

We're not looking for a traditional "chief of staff" who just manages calendars and decks. We want someone AI-native: someone who reaches for AI tools by default to build, automate, and ship.

What You'll Do

• AI Development — Build and maintain internal tools and workflows using AI (Claude, agents, automations) to speed up how the fund and studio operate, from deal research to content generation to portfolio tracking. You don't need to be a software engineer, but you should be fluent in using AI-assisted coding and automation tools to ship real things.

• GTM — Own parts of how we show up externally: social content, community events (like our Weekly Launch Hour), and outreach to strategic partners. Help sharpen our narrative and get it in front of the right people.

• Operations — Keep the day-to-day running: scheduling, coordination across the fund and studio, vendor and admin logistics, and process design as we scale. You'll be the person who notices what's broken and fixes it before anyone has to ask.

Who You Are

• 1 to 3 years of experience, in any of: startups, VC, consulting, studio/incubator environments, or a fast-moving operating role

• Genuinely AI-native: you use AI tools daily, not occasionally, and you default to building with them

• Strong writer, comfortable producing external-facing content in a clear, human voice

• Organized and low-ego: happy to do both strategic and unglamorous work

• Curious about the AI landscape and able to hold your own in conversations with founders and researchers

Nice to Have

• Experience in venture capital, a startup studio, or an early-stage startup

• A portfolio of things you've built using AI tools (internal tools, content, automations, side projects)

What You'll Get

• Direct exposure to both venture investing and company-building, at the earliest stages of both

• A seat close to the founding team, with real ownership over how we operate and communicate

• A flexible, builder-first culture where "I automated this with AI" is the default answer, not the exception
