Are you a go-getter looking to dive into the world of sales? SysAid is on the hunt for an enthusiastic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team.

In this role, you’ll work with our seasoned account executives to research and build a pipeline in new sales territories. We're looking for professionals with strong organizational and follow-up skills who work well in a team environment. Prior lead generation or sales prospecting experience and a college degree will enhance your candidacy for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate pipeline by setting qualified discovery and first meetings for Account Executives across a defined territory and ABM target list.
  • Execute daily outbound prospecting to targeted accounts via cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and personalized sequences.
  • Manage inbound leads end-to-end: fast follow-up, qualification, routing, and conversion to meetings/opportunities.
  • Help build and prioritize strategic target account lists in partnership with Sales and Marketing (ABM).
  • Research and develop account intelligence: org structure, initiatives, triggers, tech stack, and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct high-quality conversations with senior stakeholders (Director/VP/C-level), uncovering pain, urgency, and decision process.
  • Qualify using a consistent framework (e.g., MEDDICC/BANT) and document clearly in CRM to support smooth AE handoff.
  • Maintain a tight handshake with Sales: align on messaging, account plans, next steps, and meeting outcomes; follow through on no-shows and stalled accounts.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, events, and account plays; provide feedback loops on lead quality, messaging, and ICP fit.
  • Consistently achieve monthly activity and pipeline targets (meetings held, qualified opportunities created, pipeline value).
Requirements
  • 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in outbound sales with a Saas background.
  • Previous experience in lead generation or sales prospecting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks, stay organized, and prioritize work effectively.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, and you thrive in a team environment.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is advantageous.
