The Business Development Manager – ADI Exclusive Brands is an exciting role for an individual who strives to meet the expectation of our customers and wants to be a part of a growing team focused on accelerating growth for our Exclusive Brands in North America. The role will be assisting the execution of the Exclusive Brand sales and business development plan with a goal to exceed sales, margin, and customer acquisition targets. The Business Development Manager will reach their business targets through effectively supporting the ADI Group sales teams in the NA region.

This individual will also assist in the growth of Exclusive Brand sales share in selected National Accounts.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Regional sales network:
  • Working in Collaboration with Account Managers, target high potential sales opportunities in National Accounts.
  • Coaching and support within the Branch Network.
  • Raising the sales team recognition of our Exclusive Brands.
  • Being a sales team first point of contact for Exclusive Brands.
  • Identifying new opportunities from existing ADI customers
  • Grow the account base for Exclusive Brands.
  • Develop strong working relationships with ADI Sales Leaders.
  • Lead Exclusive Brand Sales Events, inc. Roadshows, focus sales days, Expos.
  • Preparing monthly sales reports including performance against KPI's.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • A minimum of 5 years of Business Development / field sales experience
  • Excellent presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Valid Driver’s License, clean motor vehicle history, and a driving record in good standing
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time

WE VALUE:

  • Bilingual in English and French.

  • Distribution experience with the ability to position product solutions across multiple categories and vendors.

  • Knowledge of the security and low-voltage residential or commercial market, supported by strong technical and commercial acumen.

  • Collaborative, customer-focused approach with the ability to work effectively with sales teams, integrators, and customers.

  • Goal-driven mindset, strong work ethic, and commitment to ongoing education in technology, product solutions, and industry trends.

  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.

  • Degree in Business or related field.
