About the Role

As an bilingual (French/English) Account Manager, you will build trusted customer relationships and help drive revenue growth through a consultative, solution-based approach. You will partner closely with customers and internal teams to support onboarding, product adoption, retention, and long-term success while demonstrating the value delivered through our solutions.


Preference will be given to candidates with legal experience and/or experience working in a law firm environment. Role requirements are flexible for candidates with law degrees, practice experience or other legal experience and knowledge. 


Responsibilities


  • Own retention, renewals, and revenue growth across a diverse portfolio of Quebec based law firm, corporate, public sector, and academic customers.
  • Meet or exceed targets for customer retention, renewal revenue, and growth by upselling customers to Lexis AI solutions.
  • Develop and execute account plans that identify expansion opportunities, strengthen key relationships, and address retention risks.
  • Proactively identify customer needs, address objections related to competing AI solutions, and clearly demonstrate how Lexis’ unique value proposition supports each customer’s goals.
  • Use AI tools to continuously improve account management practices, develop data-informed retention and growth strategies, and present insights in clear, meaningful ways.
  • Manage renewal and expansion opportunities from discovery and proposal through negotiation and close.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers, budget holders, and product users to demonstrate value and secure ongoing investment.
  • Conduct account reviews to assess product usage, demonstrate return on investment, and align solutions with customers’ priorities.
  • Monitor account health, engagement, and usage trends to identify churn risks early and execute retention plans.
  • Partner with onboarding, customer support, and product teams to improve adoption, resolve escalations, and remove barriers to renewal and growth.
  • Maintain accurate account records, opportunity pipelines, and renewal and expansion forecasts in the CRM.
  • Gather and share customer feedback to inform product improvements and strengthen the customer experience.

Requirements


  • Fluency in French and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to lead customer presentations and commercial discussions in both languages.
  • 3+ years' experience managing and growing an existing B2B customer portfolio, ideally within a subscription or solution-based business. OR 5+ years' experience in comparable roles e.g. Customer Success, Training, Product Expert. 
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding retention, renewal, and upsell or cross-sell targets.
  • Proficiency/knowledge of AI Solutions incl. Gong, ChatGPT, Claude etc. 
  • Strong consultative selling and strategic account management skills, with the ability to translate customer needs into relevant recommendations. 
  • Experience using CRM solutions to manage renewal cycles, negotiating commercial terms, and closing expansion opportunities.
  • Ability to identify account risks, navigate objections, and develop effective retention strategies.
  • Strong relationship-building skills across multiple stakeholders, including senior decision-makers.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize a diverse book of business.
  • Ability to use customer data, product usage insights, and business outcomes to demonstrate value and identify growth opportunities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-selling environment and adapt to evolving products and customer needs.

Primary Location Base Pay Range: Home Based - Canada ON $65,400-$109,000(CAD) and Total Target Cash Range for primary location in Ontario is $100,600-$167,900(CAD).
